Guide to a big Promotion

Hello ACPTR,

Today, I am going to discuss how you guys and gals can get massive promotions in the ACP with ease. Getting to the higher ranks is usually a long haul because of the vast amounts of ranks to climb through which in a way makes earning mod rank a HELL of a lot more rewarding, and it usually requires a lot of patience, so much patience that some people end up quitting in sheer impatience to get the best mod ranks. Listen carefully, because today, I shall be sharing how I got to the General Rank that I am so easily and quickly and how you can do the same!

A year ago exactly, I reached the rank of Brigadier General after 6 fun months of working with the ACP, and I got to that rank quickly. Then, I retired thanks to an old ACP group called ACPMPG. That group became ridden with trolls, and there were fights, abuse and disgusting ‘pranks’, like faking gruesome kidnappings and murders of some of the members, which immediately put me off CP Armies. Then, I rejoined in October and left again out of boredom and finally rejoined properly in December. Since, I’ve really climbed up the ranks fast and I am now one step away from 3ic :D . Anyways, I’ll share some tips so you can move just as fast up the ranks.

1. ALWAYS attend events whenever you can. This certainly does not mean it is compulsory to attend EVERY LAST EVENT KNOWN TO MAN, but set 10-15 events a month(spread out across the month, too- don’t go inactive mid-way through the month) as a BARE MINIMUM, but if possible it is recommended you attend even more.

2. Try to spend at least 1 hour on the chat a day. It doesn’t have to be all at once. Also, if you are going to be on chat, talk, and have fun! Of course, follow the rules but stay relaxed and generally be a fun person to talk to.

3. Owners are there for a reason. This means two things. Firstly, it means that you should feel free to talk to them. They are only 3ic/2ic/Leader because they are trusted by the ACP Community to be that way (we are democratic, after all!), so don’t be afraid to ask questions, suggest new ideas or discuss any concerns regarding ACP. It also means another thing. The owners are there to LEAD, so let them do that- don’t bother trying to lead the event unless it is a ULead session, because you’ll end up being kicked. However, you can of course repeat orders so people notice what the owner is trying to say.

4. Make a wordpress account at wordpress.com so that you can comment on as many posts as possible. Commenting on posts (of course, keep comments constructive and friendly) can really show your activity.

5. Recruit and patrol for enemies, and record your results on chat or in a comment. If you put this extra effort, it shows you are dedicated to the ACP and that you are willing to go the extra mile for them.

Well, what else can I say? Just be as active as possible and be friendly! Hope you liked my post, leave a comment on your opinion, thanks!
