Sorry guys that I have not posted for a while but I’m back now and focused on ACPTR and how it moves on in the future. For my comeback… Let’s play a game! Just to let you know, I’m the Co-Leader of the ACPTR. I think we can really chill out in a little game or two of Hide ‘n’ Seek! For more information, Click ”Read More”…
Hider- A person who tries to stay away from the seeker and typically hides within the boundaries.
Seeker- A person who tries to find the hiders.
Referee- A person who is a “hider” or neither a hider or a seeker that gives the final call and constantly repeats the rules on chat. He or she can declare who is out or disqualified, or still in. He is also in track of keeping time. If there is no referee, all duties are given to the seeker.
Out- A hider, however this is their status when the seeker has found them.
In- A hider, however this is their status when the seeker has not found them.
So those are the main playing parts, now, we begin!
RULES:
- Stay in bounds. Any hiders caught out of bounds will be disqualified from the round. The boundaries include: Everywhere except the Ninja Hideout, any Igloos, member areas, any special “party rooms.” If you are caught hiding in the Cove, you shall be counted as “out” during the round.
- Move at your own risk. This rule is for hiders only. You are allowed to move to anywhere you want on foot only, with the exception of Ice Berg and Dojo. The EPF Headquarters can be accessed via the Everyday Phone Facility. If you are caught illegally using the map or EPF phone, you shall be disqualified for the round. The seeker may use the EPF phone or map whenever they want.
- If caught, to the Cove! If the seeker reports you on chat or on Club Penguin, then you are to travel directly to the Cove and wait there until the round is over.
- Challenge? If the seeker reports you on chat, and the seeker is not in the room, then all penguins will STAY EXACTLY where they are until the referee (or a penguin that is out) enters the room that the seeker has reported the “hider” being in. If the seeker has lied, then all the “out” penguins are back in or a new round starts with the accused being the seeker.
- During Sudden Death, and you are still hiding, YOU MUST MOVE AROUND CONSTANTLY. You are still aloud to be in the same room as long as you are moving.
- During Sudden Death, you can report other hiders that you see. However, on chat, whoever reports the other hider first will not be out. For example, if Hider A sees Hider B and Hider B sees Hider A, then both can report each other on chat. If Hider A says that he sees Hider B in room C before Hider B reports Hider A, then Hider B is out.
- Don’t give away locations. If you give away another penguin’s location, you will be banned and then unbanned on chat, while also being disqualified from the round. Also, the penguin who was given away will be able to get a second chance and have 1 minute to relocate themselves.
- The New Seeker. After a round has been finished, then the last person to be found (or still hiding) will become the seeker.
SUDDEN AND EXTREME DEATH
Sudden Death is activated in hide ‘n’ seek 10 minutes after the round has begun. In sudden death, hiders can report other hiders, but the seeker can also report other hiders as well. However, all hiders must constantly move around. They may stay in the same room.
Extreme Death activates 13 minutes after the round has started, or 3 minutes after Sudden Death has begun. This has the same rules as Sudden Death, but everyone who is “out” becomes a temporary seeker.
HOW TO PLAY
- Gather your friends and log onto a server!
- Whoever gathered the friends is the seeker!
- Have the seeker count to 15 on ACP chat while the hiders get to their hiding spot. (During these 15 counts, the hiders may use the map and EPF phone).
- Let the seeker race into the CP World and try to find the hiders!
- After 10 minutes of the round, Sudden Death begins.
- After 13 minutes of the round (3 minutes after Sudden Death), Extreme Death begins.
- The next round will start with the New Seeker after every hider has been found, and repeat steps 3-7 until you guys are done playing.
