• Welcome to ACPTR!

Welcome to the Army of CP Training Regiment. Founded in 2008 by Omega3, over 200 cadets have passed through the ACPTR classroom and graduated to become some of the greatest members of the ACP community. Our graduates have gone on to become some of the most influential members of the army community and members of the ACP leadership and higher command! Today the tradition endures and the ACPTR remains the premier institution for training the ACP soldiers.

Working Through Tough Times

Hi ACPTR Staff,

The ACP really isn’t doing well at the moment. You know that, I know that. We’ve stagnated. Everyone is tired and bored of the same wars, for the same reasons. There aren’t many new troops, and chat is filled with people with no interest in the ACP.

It’s tough for all of us to see our ACP like this.

However, I do not think Ant took the closing of the ACPTR lightly. It was a mixture of the fact that we had had a really slow start, and that cadet numbers were lower than we’d ever seen. In all honesty, nobody can be blamed for the first one. It was all of our faults, however we can’t let it happen again. Even though that’s not my responsibility, I’ve totally neglected my project these last few months.

And the lack of cadets was simply inevitable. It’s to the very high credit of all of our staff members that we managed to get through a summer where the ACP was averaging 10 troops to come out with 2 extremely successful months. With people now bogged down by school, and the fact joint events are now much trickier, it was always going to be much harder.

So don’t look down – look up. This break for training doesn’t mean we’re taking a break. There are a lot of ideas that we need to quickly work through and decide whether we’re doing them. It isn’t necessary to schedule a meeting – we can work of of Tes’ post (I will sticky it, it can stay published). Here’s stuff I’m pretty certain we’re going to do.

  • Make lesson plans very detailed so everyone knows what to teach (especially for classes more than practicals)
  • Start the planning process of filming some lessons
  • Make an ACPTR Youtube
  • Improve chat with powers such as GControl and other group powers
  • Get new graphics I can’t stress this enough our current header has become an eyesore over the last few months I’ve been back. O.o

This list of To-dos will be put onto Tes’ post, which will be stickied.

-Twingy, ACPTR Superintendent

P.S. I’ve tried doing a Mch and putting coloured words every other line. Just for a try. See how it looks. Wasn’t an enjoyable experienced. Never again.
