• Welcome to ACPTR!

Welcome to the Army of CP Training Regiment. Founded in 2008 by Omega3, over 200 cadets have passed through the ACPTR classroom and graduated to become some of the greatest members of the ACP community. Our graduates have gone on to become some of the most influential members of the army community and members of the ACP leadership and higher command! Today the tradition endures and the ACPTR remains the premier institution for training the ACP soldiers.

I’m kidding.

Medal of Training’s aren’t given away very often. It’s very unlikely to get one given out in a single month. 2 is uncommon. 3? Impossible. And in a single day…

But we’ll go with 2.

The three people who will be listed below totally deserve this. I have had to think about each and every one, long and hard, but I know they all deserve it. MOTs are never handed out lightly because these are the only and most prestigious award the ACPTR can offer to a staff member, or anyone involved. I’ve been waiting for a long time to give out these awards, but I kept oohing and aahing as to whether the were deserved…

Mchappy2/IceyCold27: Easiest of the two choices. I honestly didn’t think, even when he left the ACP for the 3rd time (?) that he was going to get Medal of Training. I considered the fact he hadn’t ever got to co-leader or leader a real downer on his chances. Then I thought about it some more. Mch has been constantly involved since he started getting good ranks in the ACP, midway through 2010. He’s been an Instructor, Adviser, (Kind of Leader), and even Superintendent. How is that not deserving? Mch has cared throughout the years despite the fact he’s been in big positions in big armies. Well done.

Jack/Jackie202: This was honestly a toughie. We’ve always rowed and your leadership wasn’t exactly top class. But sometimes you need to step away from the bad stuff and realize what you have done. You were a staff member for a good year. You’ve stayed as an adviser. Always worked to bring in new ideas. We row, we disagree, and there’s some stuff you do which annoys me. But that doesn’t mean you were an awful staff member. You deserve this, and it would’ve been mad for you not to get it someday.

Well done both of you! You’ll be added to the page shortly.

A final note is that you’ll find this post sounds a bit lopsided. That’s because it was written for 3 people, and then quickly edited to make it two. Although I never got to the “writing achievements” bit, I was of course writing for Ant. However I’m not sure he’s ready and I consulted some ACPTR-savvy friends and they agreed. You’re very close, you just need that “final push”.
