Staff Information for September

Hello Staff of ACPTR.

 

 I am just back from work, fun time. Anyways we are just a week or two away from September. We are reopening September so we got to make sure all is prepared and that all  of you know what is going on.

• Greet troops

   This is a job that you should be already doing, whenever you see a new member on ACP chat you greet them with a warm “hello” or “welcome” and help them with any issues they might have. Make sure they get comfortable on chat and know the basics of ACP, ex. Knowing when to attend events. We were at their level some point in time of joining, so always note that they are not going to know everything and are going to have lots of questions.

• Make class posts

   Whenever you have finished teaching a class you got to make a post for the site reviewing all that you taught in that class. always try to take a class size picture for the post. Also remember that its got to look clean and easy to read.

• Know what you are teaching

    You should all know the general knowing of ACP. Make sure that the Cadets know what you are talking about and make it easy for them to learn the topic. Also make sure you cover most of the general things that need to be covered for that month like History, Leadership, Tactics, etc. You want to also make sure that you are at the class.

• Be active!

    This is a hard one for all but we got to pull through. I have been really inactive this summer and I should take much more responsibility in being more active in both ACP and ACPTR, and I will. We all got our things going on and some plans just appear last minute. So if you are going to be missing for a day or two make sure you let either me or Gar know. So this is all that needs to be known for now, another post next week will be up for you to read so heads up *v*. Read this post of instructions/advice/Information over and over again until you know that you are ready for this September.
